Training and Placement Cell

PESSACM’s Placements and Career Guidance Cell facilitates the rural students to explore employment opportunities and new career avenues. It also helps students in career planning through counseling and guidance. The placement office helps in the professional development of the students by training them towards employability skills such as resume building, group discussion and interview skills such as resume building, group discussion and interview skills which in turn helps the students to move into a desired occupation and/or apply in prestigious postgraduate and professional schools.

Campus recruitments are organized every year. The selection process generally starts with a pre-placement talk by the HR of the firm/organization providing the students with insights into the company profile, job profile, career path etc. The talk is followed by the actual selection process i.e., written test, group discussion, interview etc.

The team of Placement Cell of PESSACM is dedicated towards achieving best possible placements in preparing recruitment schedule of the year by inviting HR teams of different companies to ensure the smooth functioning of the Campus Recruitment process. Meanwhile, a number of training programmes are conducted to sharpen the students to win the recruitment process. The Entrepreneurship Development area also is encouraged and monitored with the view making Job-Creators apart from Job-Seekers.

To reduce the gap between candidate skills plus knowledge and the industry needs by producing competent resources equipped with personality development and campus recruitment training along with professional etiquette and providing them the best possible opportunities to thrive in their career.

2. Infosys company recruitment in JSS College for women, Mysuru on 6th February, 2012.
3. Job Mela organized by Sheshadripuram First Grade College, Yelahanka, Bengaluru on 16th and 17th February 2012.
4. Students were sent to Shanthi Arts, Science and Commerce College, Malavalli to attend Campus Drive on 2nd February 2017.
5. The students were informed and sent to MIT Engineering College, Mysore to participate in 5th Job Fair on 28th July, 2018.
